Brooklands Museum Your visit to Brooklands Museum begins with an evocative journey along the historic Campbell Circuit designed by World record-breaking driver Malcolm Campbell in the 1930's. Treat it with respect, like so much of Brooklands it is an Ancient Monument and part of Britain's recent technological history. Great Cockcrow Railway Great Cockcrow Railway is a 7 1/4 inch miniature railway at Lyne, not far from Virginia Water. This is probably the largest railway of its type in the UK and possibly the world. The railway runs every Sunday in the summer (May to October inclusive). It was at Runnymede Meadows beside the Thames, on 15 June 1215, that King John met his Barons to discuss their grievances and, in order to prevent a civil war, agreed to seal a Great Charter (Magna Carta).
